Last light on the Tetons from the valley floor, a thin band of orange threading between the peaks and a sky going deep blue above. I'd been working the location for two evenings in a row — the first night the clouds never broke. This was the second night, and the sky finally gave me those last few minutes where the alpenglow hits the cornices and everything else falls away.
